Produces precision units according to product specifications using schematics and other directions for assembly. Being an Assembler I - Precision Tools uses common hand and power tools. Makes adjustments to units based on testing results. In addition, Assembler I - Precision Tools may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Being an Assembler I - Precision Tools possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
