The Aviation Engineering Supervisor supervises and delegates the daily operations of an aeronautical engineering team and implements policies and procedures to guide workflow and ensure compliance with federal regulations. Oversees the design of aircraft and helicopter parts and propulsion systems to optimize aerodynamic performance and promote safe, efficient, and reliable operation. Being an Aviation Engineering Supervisor reviews prototype testing to validate the performance and safety of aircraft parts in various conditions. Develops computational models and simulations to understand and assess the performance of aircraft design and identify necessary improvements. In addition, Aviation Engineering Supervisor collects, processes, and analyzes aircraft data and conducts calculations to understand and estimate flight parameters.
