Supports the day-to-day anti-money laundering monitoring, training, and compliance requirements defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing program requirements. Being a BSA Support Specialist I maintains records in the system or database. Prepares required reports of suspicious transactions for further review. In addition, BSA Support Specialist I provides administrative support and assistance for investigations of suspicious activity. Understands related banking regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being a BSA Support Specialist I works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Working as a BSA Support Specialist I typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
