The BSA Support Specialist II performs customer account auditing to identify suspicious activity patterns with software tools and automated alerts. Supports the day-to-day anti-money laundering monitoring, training, and compliance requirements defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing program requirements. Being a BSA Support Specialist II maintains records in the system or database. Prepares required reports of suspicious transactions for further review. In addition, BSA Support Specialist II provides administrative support and assistance for investigations of suspicious activity. Understands related banking regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being a BSA Support Specialist II works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Working as a BSA Support Specialist II typically requires 3-5 years of related experience, or may need 2 years experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
