The Budget Analysis Manager monitors actual performance against estimates and prepares annual and intermediate budgets. Directs and coordinates budgeting activities and the implementation of organization's budget policies. Being a Budget Analysis Manager reviews operating budgets periodically to analyze trends affecting budget needs. Coordinates appropriations for divisional and specific programs while balancing the need for emergency funds. In addition, Budget Analysis Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department or top management. The Budget Analysis Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as a Budget Analysis Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
