Works in collaboration with hospital physicians to manage care for patients in a cardiac unit. Being a Cardiac - Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) makes patient rounds. Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. In addition, Cardiac - Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) requires a master's degree.
