The Computer Technician -Senior resolves internal user problems and ensures correct operation of personal computers. Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals. Being a Computer Technician -Senior may perform system setups for new hires. Maintains parts inventory and logs all service/repair activity. In addition, Computer Technician -Senior may require an associate's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Computer Technician -Senior has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Working as a Computer Technician -Senior typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
