The Criminal Investigator/Specialist analyzes collected data or evidence and prepares documentation for legal action. Conducts investigations of criminal cases. Being a Criminal Investigator/Specialist interfaces with various law enforcement agencies. Conducts surveillance and interviews witnesses. In addition, Criminal Investigator/Specialist may require an associate's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. Being a Criminal Investigator/Specialist contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
