Job Description

The Digital Signal Processing Engineer III applies signal and image processing principles and mathematical methods to develop image capture systems. Designs, develops, and tests mathematical algorithms used to analyze and process signal and imagery data. Being a Digital Signal Processing Engineer III performs extensive testing and validation of designs using simulation and modeling software and tools. Develops the concepts, requirements, architecture, prototypes, algorithms, and models for systems. In addition, Digital Signal Processing Engineer III conducts research and studies to create innovative approaches for solutions and products. Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Digital Signal Processing Engineer III work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
