The Health Information Records Supervisor monitors the coding and overall maintenance of records and tracks data related to patient status. Supervises the day to day duties in the medical records department for a healthcare organization. Being a Health Information Records Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Ensures that all health information management practices meet JCAHO and state standards.
