Job Description

The Manager Budgeting and Financial Control monitors actual performance against estimates and prepares annual and intermediate budgets. Directs and coordinates budgeting activities and the implementation of organization's budget policies. Being a Manager Budgeting and Financial Control reviews operating budgets periodically to analyze trends affecting budget needs. Coordinates appropriations for divisional and specific programs while balancing the need for emergency funds. In addition, Manager Budgeting and Financial Control requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department or top management. The Manager Budgeting and Financial Control manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as a Manager Budgeting and Financial Control typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
