Job Description

The Pricing Policy Director analyzes pricing intelligence to develop insights about customers, competition, geographies, market segments, capacity, and business environment. Oversees research projects and develops pricing strategies and tactics for product lines and market segments that optimize sales, revenue, and market penetration. Being a Pricing Policy Director develops and implements models, tools, and databases used to test pricing and maintain responsiveness to changes in the competitive environment. Collaborates with teams across functions to develop targets, promotions, new products, and go-to-market pricing. In addition, Pricing Policy Director requires a bachelor's degree in business or related discipline. Typically reports to senior management. The Pricing Policy Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Working as a Pricing Policy Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
