The Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree, certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel in at least one diagnostic imaging department which may include nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Being a Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.
