The Retirement Plan Senior Administrator maintains plan records and ensures compliance with federal regulations. Responsible for the administration of retirement plans. Being a Retirement Plan Senior Administrator coordinates plan activities with other departments to promote efficiencies for low-cost administrative services. Communicates with customers and assists with plan design and benefit distributions. In addition, Retirement Plan Senior Administrator may have an ASPA designation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Retirement Plan Senior Administrator contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
