Job Description

The Senior Health and Safety Administrator takes samples and measurements of hazardous materials, and coordinates the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards. Responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions. Being a Senior Health and Safety Administrator ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines. Trains employees on safety policies, procedures and regulations. In addition, Senior Health and Safety Administrator participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Working as a Senior Health and Safety Administrator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
