Job Description

The Senior Lending Officer is responsible for approving complex loans and assisting lending teams with structuring and pricing of larger loans. Oversees lending activity for a market vertical or geographic area. Being a Senior Lending Officer monitors overall loan portfolio performance and seeks resolution of issues. Assess risk, develops policies and guidelines for lenders. In addition, Senior Lending Officer ensures adherence to bank credit policies and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Senior Lending Officer manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Working as a Senior Lending Officer typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
