Job Description

The Technical Client Service Supervisor manages the daily workload to ensure required service volume and quality levels are attained. Supervises a technical support team that respond to requests from customers by phone, e-mail, or chat. Being a Technical Client Service Supervisor identifies opportunities for operational improvements and implements solutions. Trains staff in products, features, standard policies, and best practices. In addition, Technical Client Service Supervisor monitors queues, response times, and staff performance. Responds to escalated issues to develop and communicate solutions for complex or critical issues. Has a high level and up to date knowledge of products. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Technical Client Service Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Working as a Technical Client Service Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
