The Vice President of Ambulatory Services creates standards and guidelines for ambulatory services and programs. Responsible for all aspects of the ambulatory services function, which may include urgent care, surgical care, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and primary/outpatient care. Being a Vice President of Ambulatory Services plans strategies and objectives for the ambulatory services program. Maintains working relationships with community agencies. In addition, Vice President of Ambulatory Services requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Vice President of Ambulatory Services manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives.
