Directs project delivery schedule setup and ensure the project quality and budget constraints. Being an Applications Programming Manager oversees programming team resources allocations and provides direction to control development process. Requires a bachelor's degree. The Applications Programming Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Applications Programming Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
