Sales Manager II manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals. Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Being a Sales Manager II evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the department's sales volume. Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Additionally, Sales Manager II ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to sales team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a Director. The Sales Manager II typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
