Being a Storage Management Specialist V maintains efficient and reliable backup and recovery procedures. Experienced with operating systems and Storage Area Networks (SAN) and backup solutions. Additionally, Storage Management Specialist V generates reports on storage usage. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Storage Management Specialist V works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.
