Job Description:

Education:

• Associates or Bachelor’s, Accounting designation preferred, or equivalent work experience required

Work Experiences:

• 3+ years of accounting or accounts payable work experience required

•   Ensuring timely payment of all vendor invoices

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoice to payment; including coding invoices, matching purchase orders, obtaining approval and entering the invoices into the accounting system.
• Investigate and resolve invoices discrepancies between invoice and purchase order
• Escalate invoices to the appropriate department for resolution
• Review daily audit report and resolve match errors
• Ensure discounts are taken on invoices
• Reconcile vendor statements monthly to ensure past due invoices are addressed timely
• Respond to vendor inquiries and perform research as needed
• Ensure invoices received manually are scanned and linked in ERP System
• Manage vendor relationships and build effective partnerships
• Assist in ad-hoc projects as needed
• Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures and safety rules
• Duties may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned
