THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a full-time, Spanish-Fluent Operations Associate to manage and execute on the logistical and operational details for ANet’s Spanish math and Spanish literacy assessments. This person will collaborate closely with Assessment Operations and content teams to build quality assessments for ANet’s school partners. They will also ensure that school partners and ANet coaches are able to access and utilize our instructional resources and item banks. This role will report to the Director of Assessment Operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by having an impact on ensuring educational equity for all students.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Support the production of over 100 Spanish math and literacy assessments

• Ensure smooth operations and transitions between stages of assessment production, managing strong communication and hand-offs between content teams, external editors, and vendors.
• Engage in proofreading of Spanish assessment materials, providing transadaption support where needed.
• Work within ANet’s online platform to ensure the highest quality and accuracy of our online assessments. Build expertise with our online assessment delivery system and oversee external consultants’ training and review of content materials in the platform.
• Help to ensure all students have an equitable experience with our assessments by supporting with accommodations, including reviewing Text to Speech in our online platform.
• Conduct a final proofread of materials, and work closely with the Program Support & Operations team to ensure we successfully post all assessments.
• Partner closely with ANet’s Content Specialists to implement content edits, stabilize content,
  and design Spanish literacy writing items.

Review, edit, and upload high-quality items to our Paper and Online Quiz Tool

• Support with building and migrating quiz tool items into our new online platform.
• Manage and prioritize daily tasks through Wrike (project management system).

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU BRING

In order to be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:

• You are fluent in Spanish, with strong reading, writing and editing skills, as well as an understanding of grammar rules.
• You sweat the small stuff, pay exceptional attention to detail, and operate with a solution-oriented approach to work.
• You are proactive and motivated, able to work independently, take initiative, and seek out opportunities to learn and grow.
• You have technical proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets and Documents and can quickly build expertise in new technology and online tools.
• You possess strong communication skills which set you up well to collaborate effectively and professionally with ANet team members in a variety of contexts while operating with a customer service orientation.
• You are highly flexible and collaborative with a desire to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced workplace.
• You have a passionate commitment to and a sense of urgency for the support of schools, along with a belief that all students can achieve at high levels.
• You are motivated by working in an environment where we live out our core values daily. Ideal candidates may also demonstrate the following preferred qualifications:

• You have at least 2 years experience working in fast-paced office environments.
