Summary

The position assists Controller with overseeing the financial accounting team and has responsibility for all aspects of accounting and the preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the accounting function to ensure it can continue to provide first class support to the business as it expands through strong organic growth and acquisitions.
• Oversee accounts payable activities, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, payroll and employee expense reports.
• Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely billing and cash application
• Oversee all activities related to state and federal tax compliance.
• Prepare financial statements and other reports for internal and external key stakeholders, including the executive team, lenders, private equity firm and auditors.
• Monitor changes in US GAAP and ensure adherence to all applicable pronouncements.
• Implement the appropriate changes to the financial accounting workstreams following M&A transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, accounting system integration and financial reporting.
• Support the Group Financial Controller to ensure all function heads and other key stakeholders across the business on activities have the information necessary to help drive profitable growth, e.g. business planning, budgeting and analysis.
• Participate and advise on key initiatives to optimize and transform the business.

Requirements

• CPA certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of five years accounting experience.
