Your Role in Our Mission:

The Collegiate Experience Manager is broadly charged with increasing member engagement, satisfaction and organizational affinity through supporting the implementation of member experience and leadership development programming. The Collegiate Experience Manager also directs the Leadership Consultant Program, and ensures the resources and support provided by the Leadership Consultant Program remains effective and relevant in meeting the needs of the Fraternity’s members and chapters. This role frequently collaborates with the Chapter Development Team, Growth Team, Wellness Team and others to cohesively improve the member experiences, increase organizational affinity and promote lifelong involvement in Alpha Gamma Delta.

Your success will be defined by your ability to cultivate a team highly skilled in coaching, relationship building and representing the best of Alpha Gamma Delta; to build collaborative and productive relationships with staff, volunteers and members; produce high quality results against hard deadlines; and, be proactive in anticipating and addressing needs of the Leadership Consultant Program, an integral element of a growing and ever-changing organization.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with fellow Education Team members to develop, implement and review the Fraternity’s educational strategy. Focus on the adoption, implementation and successful execution of the Elevate path of the Epsilon Pi Journey, the Fraternity’s personal and leadership development program for collegiate members.
  • Support initiatives, such as those related to member retention and senior experience, that promote a positive member experience, increased organizational affinity and lifelong involvement in Alpha Gamma Delta.
  • Participate in the evaluation of the effectiveness of Fraternity programming at the collegiate level with respect to the Fraternity’s mission, vision and strategic plan. Recommend changes as appropriate.
  • Coordinate all logistical facets of the Leadership Consultant (LC) Program including, but not limited to:
    • Market the program so it attracts the most qualified candidates;
    • Recruit and hire from inception to completion;
    • Plan, lead and execute training in collaboration with staff and volunteers;
    • Coordinate logistics of all debrief periods and Interview Weekend;
    • And oversee the reporting process including training, editing, tracking and distribution.
  • Supervise and coach the Leadership Consultants through a combination of one-on-one interaction and team meetings. Set the team vision and create tangible goals for the Leadership Consultants.
  • Work with other teams including Chapter Development, Growth and Wellness to develop and oversee chapter servicing strategy which includes: identifying the frequency and timing of Leadership Consultant chapter visits, developing the expectations and resources for a successful collegiate visit, and ensuring the collection of necessary data through reporting mechanisms.
  • Supervise the Member Retention Committee of the Volunteer Service Team.
  • Travel as a representative of the Fraternity for industry events, chapter visits, Fraternity programs and events, university presentations and other purposes as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree may be beneficial.
  • Minimum of two to three years’ experience in a related field is required. Experience as a Leadership Consultant is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching, supervising or managing others is required.
  • Recruitment, program development and implementation, volunteer engagement and support, policy and procedure creation, project plan creation and training skills are all very desirable.
  • Membership in Alpha Gamma Delta (or another fraternity/sorority) is required.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Forms, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word) is required and experience using a learning management platform is desirable.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time as a representative of the Fraternity when needed.
  • Must be able and willing to lift and carry items 35-50 lbs.
  • Work from the International Headquarters offices in Indianapolis, IN or work remotely and travel to International Headquarters when needed.
