How I will contribute

 

Benefits Specialist is responsible for administration of FSA, HSA, and HRA plans as. This position includes processing all claims received, online and manual, customer service communications via phone and email, and reviewing and approving customer transactions per IRS regulations. This position will also be responsible for printing and coordinating customer in-person payroll pick up for the Winston Salem office.

 

Primary duties:

 

  • Receive incoming calls from employees to answer all FSA, DCA, HSA, and HRA questions and provide guidance in compliance with IRS regulations.
  • Review and process all submitted FSA, DCA, and HRA claims both manually submitted via email or fax and online claims submitted in the Alegeus system.
  • Print, review, stuff, and mail all reimbursement checks
  • Scan, save, and maintain all processed claims and documentation
  • Determines HRA eligibility per each client specific plan details and processes claim reimbursement per submitted documentation. This documentation is primarily carrier Explanation of Benefits. Prior experience in interpreting carrier Explanation of Benefits will be helpful.
  • Reviews incoming receipts and documentation needed to approve FSA and DCA transactions.
  • Communicates FSA and DCA potential eligible expenses to customers per IRS regulations.
  • Manages all incoming faxes, emails, and online claims submissions
  • Reviews all submitted documentation for compliance
  • Provides customer service for all incoming calls related to FSA, DCA, HSA, and HRA plans
  • Processes all FSA, DCA, HSA, and HRA enrollments and terminations
  • Provides client and customer requested reporting for FSA, DCA, and HRA plans
  • Serve as a liaison between the employee and client HR for all matters pertaining to FSA, DCA, HSA, and HRA plans
  • Work closely with client HR to communicate and assist with questions or concerns regarding FSA, DCA, HSA, and HRA plans
  • Serve as a liaison between payroll processor and client payroll pickups
  • Coordinate and timely print payroll checks and reports for in office client pick up
  • Review printed payroll checks and reports to ensure accuracy prior to client pick up
  • Must be considerate of sensitive details shared by employees and client HR
  • Must work fulltime, in office, must be self-motivated and conscious of required deadlines

 

What I will bring

 

  • High School Degree or GED required, Associates degree preferred
  • FSA administration experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service, oral/written communication, and relationship building skills.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with knowledge of MS Office applications and related business software.
  • Ability to manage complex projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
