Atlas Research has an urgent and immediate need for a Federal Grants Management SME. The selected individual will provide a wide range of analytical and technical writing support to assist a federal agency with managing its large portfolio of research grants. This role would provide grants management and regulatory compliance training to the team of grants analysts; provide technical supervision (regulatory compliance) of work products such as grantee operational desk reviews, white papers, SOPs, or the practical impacts of evolving regulations. The SME would be expected to lead many of these deliverables. This scope is focused on financial, administrative, compliance aspects of the portfolio, not the technical delivery of the research. The project team is based in Washington DC and will need regular engagement (face to face) with the SME. The SME would be expected to meet with the client generally weekly. Some telework will be feasible (not more than two days per week at the discretion of the team).
