AUTOMATED CONVEYOR SYSTEMS HR Assistant Salary in the United States

Automated Conveyor Systems, Inc., a reputable and established conveyor manufacturing company in the industry, located in West Memphis AR, has a great career opportunity in the Human Resources Department.
Our firm is in need of a self-motivated HR Assistant to support our busy HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department, assisting with the orientation process, entering employment data records into our HR database. Employee communications will be a large part of the duties, collecting material for quarterly company newsletter, facebook page updates, bulletin postings, handbook/policy communications, other employee announcements. If you have a strong sense of discretion and enjoy devoting time assisting employees with company matters, we want to hear from you.

Duties include:

• Perform administrative work, employee communications, and maintaining files for the Human Resources department
• Enter employment data into computer database
• Track and update hourly employee leaves of absence
• Assist HR Manager with the hiring process, including submitting job postings online, and scheduling candidate interviews
• Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations and employee training sessions
• Report directly to HR Manager

Requirements:

• Associate degree in HR-related field required (Bachelor's preferred)
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Solid understanding of MS Office
• Some HR experience is a plus, but not required
