Blue Nile is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Customer Service team. We are looking for someone who loves qualitative and quantitative data, data visualization, and wants to dive deep to use data and insights to improve customer service and experience. The ideal candidate will excel at assembling data from different sources to help drive thoughtful solutions and will serve as the subject matter expert on all reporting projects related to customer experience. The Business Analyst will continually improve his/her level of knowledge and understanding of the customers and the business to make insightful recommendations about changes to internal processes and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and manage data from various platforms including BoldChat, FreshDesk, Mytel and other internal tools and technology platforms
• Develop reports based on internal needs and analyze data to develop business insights into performance and opportunities of the customer service team
• Work closely with product, data, tech and other analyst teams to tracks the progress of initiatives and help prepare the business and customer service team for next steps
• Understand the KPI’s of the business and automate dashboards to share data with stakeholders
• Support departmental needs for ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Apply statistical analysis, simulations, and predictive modeling to analyze business performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience
• 2+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst or data driven role
• In depth knowledge of Excel, SQL, Tableau (or other BI tools)
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• High degree of professionalism, integrity and customer service obsession
• Ability to build relationships with all members of the customer service and broader Blue Nile team to better advance key initiatives and evaluate impacts and performance of the organization as a whole
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills; able to multi-task and prioritize competing projects
