In this position, you will support purchasing functions from vendor selection, supplier management, purchase requisitions and orders; to receiving, invoice reconciliation, inventory management, and assisting with accounts payable. Your efforts at creative sourcing and price negotiation will have significant impacts on the financial success of the company. Additionally, your analytical skills will contribute strongly, as you provide deep insight into spending patterns, trends, and cost reduction potential as the company continues its rapid growth.

• Research potential supplier targets for indirect expenditures and negotiate favorable terms.
• Create and place purchase orders; develop and refine requisition and ordering processes.
• Reconcile receipts and drive resolution of any discrepancies.
• Assist with the creation and implementation of inventory control procedures.
• Provide analyses on costs and implement cost reduction activities.
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and maintain strong communications.
• Project management focus from inception through completion.
• Assist with a wide array of additional functions as necessary within rapid growth startup.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a similar program.
• Knowledge of procurement concepts, practices, and procedures, including purchasing, negotiation, commercial contracts, and cost breakdown.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Analytical skills, with the ability to back up conclusions with data.
• Time management skills, with the ability to separate the important tasks from the noise.
• Sense of urgency, with ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to present concise data to internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience working in an electronics design or supply chain environment.
• Knowledge of PLM tools.
• Prior experience using Acumatica, or similar ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
