Position Objective

To direct, promote, and coordinate the store in a manner that will promote outstanding customer service and help to achieve the company's goals, and result in the company's success.

Time Requirement and Benefits

• Hours: 45-50 hours per week
• Pay commensurate with experience
• 2 week pay period

• Vacation Time:
• Accrued vacation after one year of employment. After that first year, you accrue one week. During years 2-4 you can accrue two weeks. 5 years+ you can accrue three weeks. You can also carry 20 hours over on December 31, the rest must be used or lost.

Position Responsibilities

As Store Manager, you create the atmosphere and culture within your store. Maintaining a professional appearance as well as a positive attitude toward your customers, staff, your position, and the company will go a long way in making you and your location successful. The Store Manager's responsibilities involve proper store operations which include but are not limited to:

1. Excellent customer service
2. Learn all the responsibilities of a cashier and perform those duties, fill in as needed
3. Manage Staff: guide, supervise, train, direct and correct
4. Achieve targeted/budgeted financial expectations
5. Maintain payroll goals through achieving targeted scheduling
6. Cash control including daily banking, cash reconciliation and regular cash audits of cashiers
7. Product receiving/vendor check-in and processing daily
8. Inventory control including daily cycle counts which result in a monthly full store count. All count adjustments are to be sent to the office as part of your weekly paperwork and full store inventory evaluation is to be sent in with month-end paperwork.
9. Maintaining targeted inventory levels when ordering and working with vendors
10. Maintaining proper retail pricing and signage
11. Merchandising product according to supervisor's direction
12. Conduct price surveys and keep supervisor informed
13. Recruit, hire (under direction of supervisor) and train staff
14. Plus selling at register
15. Increasing sales
16. General maintenance and appearance of location and equipment
17. Create a professional image
18. The Store Manager will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the store and a favorable image of the company.
19. Miscellaneous Duties as assigned.
