Assistant, Integrated Planning

The Assistant, Integrated Planning assists in the building and maintaining of media campaigns across multiple channels. As an entry level position, the Assistant position represents the start of a media career and is supervised by an Associate, Integrated Planning. 

You will be essential in the daily tactical management of the media communications account and requires you that works well in a team-based atmosphere. While advanced Integrated Planning thinking is not expected, the successful Assistant is eager and demonstrates the initiative to participate in advanced projects. The Assistant, Integrated Planning position is training-intensive. Excitement to learn new skills (both technical and organic) and procedures is essential. The Assistant is expected to be an active participant, increasing participation over time in the position. The Assistant, Integrated Planning is also encouraged to contribute ideas and insights to benefit our clients.

You Will:

• Use syndicated planning tools to run reports and develop insights
• Run and maintain spending reports, and execute baseline assessments of data
• Gather information to be used in developing media communication plans, such as demographic profiles, media usage habits, and media costs
• Help with the preparation, development and monitoring of media communication plans for assigned accounts
• Help maintain flowcharts, buying guidelines, testing plan & results analysis, budget summaries, plan delivery and reports
• Demonstrate interest and help evaluate existing and latest communications opportunities in general and those which would be relevant to the assigned brand/category
• Acquire understanding of the client’s media AOR and Reach-Based planning process to help achieve communications planning goals
• Support CP as back-up contact point for client’s internal media staff and for client’s brand staff about media plan implementation and maintenance topics
• Other responsibilities as needed; assembly of presentation materials, client binders, meeting setup and other administrative tasks
• Support senior Planners in preparing and delivering work to clients, colleagues
• Manage internal/client status reports
• May participate and contribute in face-to-face client meetings
• Keep current with market research, agency and client news (industry periodicals, email newsletters, websites) 
• Assist activation team with planning and implementing digital campaigns including proposal coordination and campaign execution
• Partner with team to assess, optimize and report on digital campaign performance

You Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 0-2 year(s) industry experience
• interest in and familiarity with Media and Integrated Planning
• Desire to learn about marketing and role of communications in it
• (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
