Job Description:
Responsible for managing the daily operations of the billing and follow-up services within Essentia Health. This position provides leadership to team members to successfully complete the billing and follow-up functions for assigned accounts, including researching and following-up on all outstanding insurance receivables. The manager will work collaboratively with team members to address any revenue cycle management issues in his/her assigned practices. This position is held accountable for monitoring regional and system billing supervisors and staff for Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, Independent Living, Homecare, Hospice and Orthotics & Prosthetics. Work Experience: 3 years previous supervisory experience in SNF, Hospice/Homecare, DME or medical billing.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field required for applicants hired after February 1, 2020.

No certification/licensure required.
