Seeking a Account Representative Non ECW for our practice who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now.

What you will do in this role:

• Possesses and applies a thorough knowledge of the practice management systems and the ability to apply the knowledge to all aspects of the patient account including insurance, billing, and collection processes.
• Monitors insurance claims by running appropriate reports and contacting insurance companies to resolve claims that are not paid in a timely manner.
• Identifies coding or billing problems from EOBs and works to correct the errors in a timely manner.
• Updates the account database to identify actions that have been taken on the account.
• Assists AR Manager with special projects to include the following: working projects for managed care companies regarding timely filing issues, working high dollar balance accounts, deleting and rekeying accounts to correct them, providing quality assurance on collections activities and payment posting, and training of new account representatives.
• Work with clinic and clinic managers to resolve outstanding insurance balances.

Qualifications

What Qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of one year of medical office experience and/or collections experience is required, three years of medical billing experience; or post-secondary education may be substituted for experience, and a comprehensive knowledge of insurance is desired, related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
