Lead Financial Analyst - Accounting 

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is a tertiary acute care 342 bed hospital that has been serving the community for more than 75 years. It provides a 24-hour designated Level II trauma center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, cardiac care services, women’s center, daVinci robotic surgery, neurosciences, pediatric care, rehabilitation therapy, sleep center, radiology, hyperbaric medicine, diagnostic/imaging services, and wound care facility.

What you will do in this role:

• Utilizes the Decision Support System to prepare profitability statements by payors, product lines, and physicians.
• Participates on Revenue Management Committee.  Assists senior management in analyzing and reporting historical utilization and profitability associated with the managed care business.  Provides data essential to contract negotiation analysis.  Prepares payor audits to monitor contract compliance.
• Utilizes Business Objects to extract utilization, reimbursement, and A/R data from multiple company databases in order to compile reports for administration and other departments.
• Assists utilization management staff in developing resource consumption profiles and treatment comparison reports.
• Prepares and analyzes utilization and cost data as required for regulatory reporting and new program/service submissions.

Qualifications

What qualifications you will need: 

• Bachelors or Master of Science degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in accounting systems and PC based systems preferred.
• Basic business skills and an understanding of general financial operations.
