Job Summary

Are you a creative problem solver who loves building processes, keeping people on task, and nailing the details? Do you like to figure out how to keep everything running smoothly? We need an enthusiastic Associate Project Manager who is a rigorous thinker and a fast learner, communicates clearly, and is able to collaborate closely with our 8-person education team. You will report to our practice lead and will help to ‘keep all the trains running on time’ for projects across the education portfolio. Responsibilities and Duties

• Project manage numerous concurrent education projects:
  • Schedule internal and external meetings, review sessions, and debriefs
  • Monitor project progress including tracking the status of tasks, budget, and deliverables
  • Capture and communicate meeting notes, decisions, and follow-up items
  • Regularly communicate and collaborate with those involved in the projects (both internally and externally)
• Provide support for education team operations and goal tracking:
  • Proactively manage and maintain education team meetings and agendas
  • Track education practice goals
  • Provide additional support as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• BA/BS or equivalent preferred
• 0 - 2 years of previous experience in project management
• Fearless and independent thinker: someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions and seek creative solutions
• Strong work ethic and close attention to detail
• Proactive: can stay two steps ahead of project stakeholders and anticipate needs
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
• Goal-oriented, self-starter: someone who can manage multiple work streams, set and meet their own deadlines, budgets, and milestones (and help others track theirs!)
• Discreet: can handle sensitive information and interactions
• Strong proficiency in standard office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Drive) and interest in quickly mastering new tools (AirTable, Trello, Harvest/Forecast)
• Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and in project work
• Interest in making an impact in education required

Please note that this role is on-site in our Seattle office. Our staff are currently working from home full-time due to Covid, but we are not able to offer relocation packages.  We are also unable to offer any visa sponsorship at this time.

The salary range for this role is estimated to be $55,000.00-$65,000.00.
