We are looking for an assistant Shopify developer to join our team. This position is responsible for building and deploying Shopify store fronts, working with the marketing team to drive continuous improvements in a rapid growth context in addition to maintaining current websites. To perform effectively in this position, you must have a working knowledge of CMS platforms & technologies and be able to think through the overall design to anticipate future needs. Additional skills such as front-end UI/UX design experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications is preferred but not required.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
·                     Navigating Shopify and manipulating the languages (Liquid/php) 
·                     Translate requirements & mockups into fully functioning eCommerce sites 
                      using HTML/CSS/Liquid/JS 
·                     Create reusable modular code and libraries with Liquid templates for future use 
·                     Develop and launch a website end-to-end ensuring optimization and functionality  
·                     Decipher technical documentation for APIs, eCommerce systems, open-source projects, etc. 
·                     Collaborate internally to continue to improve process and company growth goals 
·                     Execute development with minimal oversight, ability to take ownership of projects 
·                     Manage multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to address the requests and 
                     requirements at a moment's notice 
·                     Optimize website and application for SEO, maximum speed and scalability 
·                     Understand business needs that drive project features & functions and provide 
                      internal consultation 
·                     Clearly communicate solutions to team members both verbally and in written documentation 
·                     Perform other duties as assigned  
 
Minimum Qualifications:  
·                     At least 1-2 years of experience with web development (Knowledge of vue/react is a plus) 
·                     Professional portfolio with at least 3 websites for review 
·                     Advanced knowledge of eCommerce CMS and plugins (Familiarity with Shopify is a plus) 
·                     Proficient in HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript is required  
·                     Working knowledge of web analytics, SEO, and website management tools 
·                     Visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction is a plus 
·                     Work experience demonstrating flexibility and excellent organizational skills, including the 
                      ability to meet deadlines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner 
·                     Ability to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment 
·                     Ability to multi-task by handling multiple projects simultaneously and meet concurrent  deadlines  
·                     Excellent organization and strong communication skills 
·                     Attention to detail with the ability to deliver projects on-time 
·                     Ability to take direction and maintain a positive attitude
