JAKTOOL Information Technology/Security Analyst Salary in the United States

THIS POSITION IS FULLY ON-SITE AT OUR FACILITY IN CRANBURY NJ.  REMOTE WORK IS NOT AN OPTION.

JAKTOOL seeks an individual to support enterprise-wide security systems that are related to technology and business processes.  This individual will also support existing software & hardware systems.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist management in the development of information security systems, risk assessments, and identifying security vulnerabilities.
• Windows Server 2016/2019 and Windows Active Directory experience is required.
• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including assistance for remote users.
• Experience with firewall, VPN, proxies, routers, and switches.
• Prepare technical proposals based on changes in infrastructure, newly identified vulnerabilities, improvements in monitoring tools and changing best practices
• Ensure integrity and security of company data by performing daily backup checks and updating information security tasks related to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, 800-53, 800-171, CIS, CMMC or other regulations is preferred
• Work with management on new projects, as assigned 
  

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in a field related to computer science/information AND one (1) year of professional experience in: analyzing, designing, programming, troubleshooting, resolving technical problems, testing, defining business requirements, training and/or installing computer systems applications OR planning, acquiring, installing and implementing telecommunications facilities and services, wide area networks, or local area networks OR generating and maintaining system software.

  Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional IT technical experience or experience related to the area to which the applicant is applying on a year for year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits.
