Position Summary

The Business Analyst assists with the implementation and support of business information and systems to identify opportunities and provide solutions that improve business performance.  The business analyst collaborates closely with business, operational, IT and financial reporting teams to conduct market, operational and financial analysis; develop and monitor metrics and reporting; and function as a conduit between teams to define requirements and shape systems necessary to meet business goals.

Position Functions and Responsibilities

• Engage with business leaders to understand how data driven changes to process, products, services and software can improve efficiencies and add value.
• Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
• Create detailed business analysis, outlining problem, opportunities and solutions
• Conduct financial modeling to provide insights that drive decision making and align resource allocation within the budget
• Establish and maintain business, clinical and operational reporting
• Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
• Assist in conducting research on products to meet agreed upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts.
• Manage projects in effective and efficient manner
• Prepare reports and insights that are logical and understandable for the team and topic
• Performs all other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or a related field.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with healthcare payers, bringing domain expertise and knowledge of the healthcare industry.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, analytics, insights, or consulting.
• Functional experience in marketing analytics, marketing strategy, predictive modeling, consumer segmentation, campaign performance reporting, consumer data analytics, and Medicare Advantage is preferred.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting data.
