Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work from drawings (Lumitex, vendor, and customer), sketches, tables, charts, schedules, blue prints, and written and oral instructions.  Receive direction from the Quality Engineer or Quality Lead.
• Inspect product to the appropriate inspection plan for visual, dimensional, light output, or functional requirements.  Understand the inspection results and take the appropriate action.
• Log, file, and distribute necessary paperwork including NCM’s.  
• Write and authorize C of C’s.  
• Perform internal audits per ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP and customer requirements. 
• Manage calibration records and calibrate equipment. 
• Assist in the maintenance of document control.  
• Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment and materials
• Use scale, gauges, fixtures, hand tools, personal computer, calculator, comparator, light meters, power supplies, and electrical meters.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read measurements on calipers, micrometers, and other required measuring equipment. 
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Clear communication (oral and written) skills
• Ability to keep accurate records
• Ability to follow documented procedures and standards
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision
