Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst develops detailed financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues. They will also have the ability to analyze a variety of financial scenarios to support all departments of the business and build accurate reports either ad hoc or recurring in nature. They must also process an ability to plan, forecast, and estimate financial statements and scenarios as required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete reporting and analysis by gathering information from various data sources and assimilates into reports as requested or on a regular basis, dependent upon the report. The analyst is then expected to provide insights after a careful review of the report.
• Complete budgeting and forecasting for the corporate stores and the G&A by analyzing current trends and gathering relevant new information to provide insights into the direction of the corporate stores and G&A process.
• Provide annual re-forecasting for one of the three major models and all of the models associated with the company store division.
• Provide reporting to the operations department specifically with the Ops Scorecard and 5 Star reports and other requested reports.
• Provide support for the key results and P&L compliance by gathering and reporting on key results and the development of a monthly mechanism for progress of P&L compliance.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 2 years of experience in an analytical role in finance and accounting, or business management

Preferred:

• MBA or CPA preferred
• Basic knowledge of database structures

Critical Competencies:

• Experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, profitability analysis and/or auditing techniques
• Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting aggressive deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
• Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or expectations to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
• Knowledge of the link between analysis and business impact
• Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel
• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word
