Project Manager, New College Grad
MetricStream is currently recruiting for an entry level Project Manager supporting the Professional Services leader and Cloud Operations leader. The ideal candidate is a recent technical college graduate who is a fast learner, team contributor and a problem solver. The role offers great opportunities for professional development and career growth in cloud operations and Professional Services.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain technical documents such as projects plans, action items trackers, templates
- Identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.
- Planning, coordination and follow-through across global organization and stakeholders
- Exercise project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills
- Able to run small group meetings
- Communication around above topics
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule meetings and appointments
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Collaborate with people from different backgrounds and at different levels within the company
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree – Engineering or IT or Economics majors preferred
- 0-2 years’ work experience
- Excellent project management skills. PMI certification highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous projects across various stakeholders
- Experience identifying, tracking, and communicating a variety of program metrics
- Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong ability to communicate complex problems
- Detail-oriented, organized, process-driven
- Ability to effectively facilitate meetings, working towards specific intended outcomes
