Hourly Wage for MGM Resorts International (Grave) Floor Care Specialist - Full Time (Beau Rivage) Salary in the United States

Location:

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Assist in preparation of guest rooms and corridors for arrival and continued stay of hotel guests to standards commensurate with a 5-star rated Hotel.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean, set up, and wax all floor surface areas
• Perform has-com or blood borne treatment by procedure as required
• Clean and/or shampoo carpet and upholstery and report repairs needed
• Set up, operate, and breakdown all cleaning equipment
• Clean and/or polish brass, mirrors, glass, light fixtures, and chandeliers
• Clean all walls and ceilings and report repairs needed
• Clean and empty linen and trash containers
• Receive inventory and deliver all housekeeping supplies
• Perform and/or assist with other cleaning and delivery duties as needed
• Receive and distribute incoming linen, load dirty linen onto linen truck, keep track of new and used linen
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

• Able to accurately inventory supplies
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
• General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Perception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionally
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
• Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

PREFERRED:

• Knowledgeable of carpet extraction, bonneting, stripping/waxing and chemicals
• General cleaning experience
