Overview

The Assistant Manager provides leadership in ongoing quality, productivity and efficiency in childcare. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for providing a safe and nurturing learning experience while communicating the goals, guidelines and standards of the center.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Bachelors Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related field required.
• Experience: At least four years full time verifiable work experience teaching in an early childhood center or leadership experience (or combo of both) required.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Level III NCECAC or equivalent comp within two years required. Training and BSAC, where applicable required.
• Additional Skills Required: ITS SIDS within two months of hire. Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing. Playground Safety certification. NCECAC must be started within six months of taking on leadership duties and be completed within two years.
• Additional Skills Preferred: CDL and ability to drive a 15 passenger van. Training and BSAC preferred for those working with school age children.
