Oak Orchard Health is searching for a dedicated, detail oriented Biller to join our Patient Accounts team. Oak Orchard Health offers medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health services to our patients in multiple locations and this department is dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely payment postings.

Responsibilities:

Assists in coordination of accounts receivable operations, including maintenance of on-site automated billing and statistical system

Runs and researches weekly aging reports, weekly claim follow up reports

Review all claim statuses monthly to ensure that nothing is sitting within an incorrect status

Accurate posting of payments received through the mail to patient’s accounts

Utilizes the general ledger correctly and accurately

Works closely with finance staff to ensure all money deposited electronically have been posted appropriately and accurately

Requirements

• Previous billing experience
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel
• High School Diploma or higher
