The Philadelphia Cricket Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to help provide the best possible dining experience to our members and best possible work experience for our employees. 

This role is responsible for the daily oversight of F&B operations in our many dining locations (including member dining rooms, pool pub, squash bar, and paddle pavilion). The Food & Beverage Manager will supervise and direct staff and uphold policies and procedures defined by the club and management.

Duties & Responsibilities for the Food & Beverage Manager include:

• Supervise and direct hourly staff assigned to the location, including monitoring and enforcement of employee dress code
• Participate in the recruitment process by interviewing, hiring and training
• Review daily Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and setups to ensure they meet the needs of service
• Collaborate effectively with peer managers to ensure an outstanding member experience
• Communicate with the kitchen staff prior and during an event to ensure timeliness and quality of product
• Quickly identify problems or issues and be willing and able to decide on the corrective action
• Maintain a positive attitude towards employees, members, and guests
• Build a relationship with the members through name recognition
• Ensure service areas remain stocked with appropriate product by conducting a weekly inventory and submitting purchase requests to the appropriate manager
• Maintain appearance and upkeep of all food & beverage equipment needed for service
• Maintain appearance of service areas and member areas at each location
• Conduct inventory of equipment routinely throughout the season
• Report equipment inventory shortages to the appropriate manager

• Ability to work a flexible schedule if necessary, based on the on the needs of the business
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work supervised or unsupervised
• Previous supervisor / management experience, preferably in a private club environment
