As our Business Development Executive you will be able to enjoy the benefits of selling our cutting edge TMS system as well as our proprietary software that is first to the market. You can also sell our services to anyone, anywhere in the nation without being bound to a territory.

  • Throughout your tenure with Sims Global Solutions, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Knocking your sales goals out of the park!
  • Cultivating new client relationships.
  • Offering expert business advise to your customers.
  • Designing and pitching sales proposals.
  • Discovering opportunities for new business and service enhancements.
  • Mentoring and managing a team of account executives.
  • Solving sales and delivery issues.
  • Crafting solutions for your customers from reporting and data.

About you:

  • Your Experience: You have been a successful 3PL or Carrier Freight salesperson for 2-3 years and have extensive knowledge of freight transport, including Truckload, LTL, RAIL, INTL and AIR.
  • Your Education: You have a Bachelors or advanced degree in business.
  • Your Skills: You must be an excellent communicator and negotiator. You are incredibly successful at building relationships, resulting in having extensive industry contacts and an active book of business to transition over. You are tech-savvy and able to work from your phone, TMS, and email.
  • Your Characteristics: This is a fast-paced environment, so you should have the tenacity to motivate yourself to thrive. You think outside the box and have a knack for problem solving. You know your customers are the most important and will respond quickly to their needs.
  • Your impact: You can help lead our team to our greatest earnings yet!
