STEVENS CONSTRUCTION Estimator - Fort Myers office Salary in the United States

At Stevens Construction, we are identifying, hiring and retaining the very best people.  We need an estimator to add to our construction family. 

• Generate and update bid package templates
• Expand subcontractor database and develop subcontractor relationships
• Develop and maintain historical cost data
• Generate preliminary, 50%DD, final cost estimates
• Manage and update the estimating programs and backup all estimating data
• Manage the overall bid process
• Develop bid scopes from conceptual thru final documents
• Generate bid invitations
• Generate and monitor RFI’s
• Organize and conduct pre-bid meetings as needed
• Develop preliminary schedules for bid packages
• Perform constructability reviews
• Visit job sites and formulate potential risk analysis
• Develop relationships with Owners and Design Professionals
• Initiate and review exhibits to owner and sub agreements
• Review and qualify subcontractor bids
• Generate cost proposal letters to owners
• Organize & conduct “Project Turnover Meetings”
• Assist with prequalification of subcontractors
• Attend Project Development & Marketing functions as needed
• Develop & prepare project feasibility studies
• Have a complete understanding as to his/her contribution to achieving the five year strategic plan and the annual plan.
• Understand and operate under the company’s SOP’s at all times.
• Other duties as assigned
