Strategic Business Systems, Inc. (SBS) is hiring a motivated Application Service Desk Analyst to support a cutting-edge modeling and analytics framework in support of the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC). On this program you will have the opportunity to work with technical leaders in cloud computing and data analytics to re-architect, modernize, and operationalize a critical tool leveraged across the IC to make real-time, mission-critical decisions. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Polygraph.
Candidates must be self-motivated who can understand technical concepts and collaborate on technical direction on a small team in an agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for making sure the development and testing team have the information necessary to do their jobs
- Make sure all development tickets in JIRA have well defined descriptions, requirements, assumptions, and acceptance criteria.
- Review and replicate high-side JIRA tickets that need to be resolved by the team either as an operational incident or a development story
- Reconcile completed tickets in low-side JIRA and high-side JIRA environments
- Evaluate and develop models that mimic the complexity and process/transformation of data and visualizations to evaluate testing and taxing the system environment
- Support the development of automated API testing and usage
- Support Sprint planning, grooming, and Scrum activities
- Maintain the Application Service Desk support process(es)
- Maintain the Application Service Desk ticketing system
- Provide Tier 1 Service Desk support during normal business hours (8am-4pm EST)
- Triage incoming user tickets and assign work to appropriate internal development queues, to include the unclassified development queue, queues for external functionals developer partners, and queues for training and model building support
- Monitor enterprise high-side application chatrooms (e.g., Rocket.Chat) as specified by the Government and application support email lists for operational issues and capture them as Service Desk tickets
- Maintain the application Knowledge Base content with updates following each major release or as directed by the Government
- Capture stakeholder feedback for prioritization of work for discussion at Community Review Boards (CRBs)
Qualifications:
- Current Active TS/SC clearance with CI polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field; 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
- 4 Years of business/systems analysis experience
- 3 Years of experiencing managing tasks, timelines, and expectations
- Ability to work well in a fast paced, dynamic team environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Strong customer interaction skills with exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with proven experience of ability to multi-task, being able to prioritize and follow through on tasks
- Strong coordination and facilitation skills
