SFLA Financial Coordinator

Summary
The Students for Life of America Financial Coordinator will be based in Fredericksburg, VA and will work out of the SFLA National Headquarters. This position will receive contributions, process supporter mail, and deposit all contributions in a timely manner. He or she will be responsible for the financial compliance of certain initiatives, including paying invoices, time tracking, and database management. In addition to the below assignments, occasionally they will be given miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Essential Functions
• Manage all levels of volumes of donor mail, as it may spike to higher levels at times.
• Receive mail, process mail, and input information into the SFLA CRM, Virtuous.
• Export files in a timely manner to vendors.
• Compile weekly reports to the Director of Development for the dollar and volume amount of mail.
• Pick up mail at local P.O. box to cage in the SFLA HQ.
• Deposit donations into SFLA accounts.
• Send any relevant information about supporters to the Development Team to follow up on.
• Ensure that all supporter and supporter interactions are tracked accurately and that individual gifts are acknowledged through a handwritten thank you note in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Write Christmas cards for selected supporters
• Coordinate charitable licensing, including working with fundraising vendors to ensure licensure.
• Track invoices for different initiatives and work to ensure they are paid in a timely manner.
• Update Quickbooks, accounting software, and ensure all receipts and invoices are properly uploaded to the server.
• Receive time trackers and expense reports from employees and ensure the reimbursement of those hours and expenses.
• Assist with the annual audit.

Students for Life of America is a 501c3 not-for-profit charity that engages in pro-life education and activism. We are made up of Americans of all ages, although the majority of our team is in our 20s and 30s. We run a fast-moving, grassroots organization that strives to innovate, unify, and lead. We believe the ending of abortion will happen when both supply and demand for abortion are erased. Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, working 45 hours a week. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to work all days of the week, weekends, evenings, and holidays depending on need of the job.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.

Work Authorization
Must be able to successfully complete an I-9. The I-9 is used for verifying the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States.
